Job Summary
Role Overview
Responsible for maintaining optimal performance reliability and efficiency of data centre physical infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.
This role supports mechanical electrical and environmental systems to ensure 24/7 operations and contributes to ongoing maintenance and infrastructure activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily monitoring operational checks and incident response
- Coordinate and supervise vendors during maintenance and installations
- Manage secure access and ensure works are completed to required standards
- Carry out network cabling adds changes and removals
- Handle installation and decommissioning of servers and network devices
- Troubleshoot network and cabling issues including after-hours support
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in data centre or mission-critical environments
- Hands-on experience with server and network device installation
- Strong troubleshooting skills in network and cabling
- Able to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
This is a contract position with potential for extension.
