Test Engineer

Location: Hyderabad Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Your New Role

The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and scripts identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests and contributing to automated test frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality this role you will design test plans procedures and scripts to accurately assess new products and updates collaborating with engineering groups to define analyze and interpret tests across products systems and software modifications. This role emphasizes an automation-first quality practice with manual testing used selectively to complement automated coverage and independent problem investigation for systems operating across diverse customer environments.

Your Responsibilities Heres What Youll Do

• Develop and maintain moderately complex integration functional and non-functional tests; contribute to automated test frameworks to ensure the holistic quality of the software
• Design and execute tests that validate upgrades compatibility and behavior across multiple system configurations and environments
• Lead the verification of system functionality by executing automated and manual tests analyzing results providing recommendations and reporting defects in the test repository
• Contribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline including test automation test environments and security considerations
• Follow the peer code review process for test automation code completing reviews for peers and incorporating feedback into automated tests
• Provide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production and software issues; independently investigate failures using logs diagnostics and data to identify root causes before escalating

Role Essentials

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of all phases of the test lifecycle and software application testing tools methodologies and process frameworks
• Experience with test automation continuous integration tools and test design
• Demonstrated experience with build environments delivery pipelines and programming or scripting tools
• Experience with Agile frameworks regression testing and source control systems

What Wed Like to See

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with developers and teammates to resolve quality and reliability issues
• Experience testing cloud-hosted systems (such as AWS-based components) and familiarity with integration or contract testing approaches (such as PACT or similar)
• Experience with database technology and development on Windows/Linux platforms
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage projects to completion
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and a driven approach to staying current professionally in a fast-paced environment
