Job Description:
The UW-Superior Admissions Office is looking for enthusiastic students to be an integral part of a prospective students experience on campus. This position will give campus tours assist with processing of incoming applications prepare for Admissions Events and help with general office needs. This position will start Summer 2026 with the potential to extend until you graduate.
Responsibilities:
Lead a variety of campus tours while sharing experiences of being a UWS student (ex. individual family group candidate)
Assist with campus recruitment events organized by the Admissions Office (ex. SOAR Preview Days Yellowjacket For A Day)
Represent UWS at campus functions community events and marketing campaigns (ex. Superior Soiree Universities of WI events campus videos and photoshoots)
General office duties (ex. answering phones data entry mailings)
Assemble admit packets and outgoing correspondence to appropriate individuals
Open date stamp sort and process incoming admission material (transcripts and test scores)
Enter data into the student information system confirming accuracy of information
Aid in data clean-up to ensure data integrity
Organize scan and link documents using ImageNow
General office duties (ex. answering phones data entry mailings)
Time Commitment:
Our office hours are 8:00am-4:30 with campus tours offered twice a day Monday-Friday (times vary based on time of year and staff availability). Campus Ambassadors will be scheduled around class and university commitments. Occasional Saturday tours events and Campus Ambassador meetings are required.
Required Qualifications:
Enrolled at UW-Superior with at least 12 credits and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Positive attitude toward the programs and services UW-Superior has to offer
Public speaking skills in individual group settings and over the phone communication
Ability to handle confidential information and comply with FERPA
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
Effective organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to market the University effectively to prospective students and articulate the services it has to offer for current students alumni and the community
Ability to understand the needs of prospective students and their families
Ability to relate to a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
Basic computer and typing skills
Working knowledge of MS Office
