Description of Work
The primary purpose of the Administrative Associate II position is to provide assistance to the Administrative Specialist I as needed to type the majority of documents including letters memorandums evaluations and any other necessary correspondence in Alpine Cottage. This position is responsible for maintaining and updating individuals financial accounts greeting and assisting visitors answering incoming calls and delivering messages. Position is also responsible for assisting with ordering toiletries nursing and office supplies for the division including shopping trips and ensuring that adequate amounts and appropriate items are available for individuals and staff. This position also prepares and handles work orders. This position handles all incoming and outgoing mail and performs other related duties as assigned. This position is responsible for requesting and returning funds for individuals outings. This position is also responsible for the Procurement Card for Alpine Cottage. This position also assumes responsibilities for office operations in the absence of the Administrative Specialist I when needed and must be flexible in accommodating the changing needs of Alpine Cottage including the back up support of our sister Cottage Ridgeway when needed.This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

Recruitment Range: $31200.00 - $51249.00

Demonstrated ability to utilize office equipment and other technology (software and systems) to meet work needs
Working knowledge to understand issues identify problems and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action
Proven ability to present ideas in written form; adjust language or terminology to meet needs of the recipient(s) and use correct grammar organization and structure
Proficiency in independently planning prioritizing and organizing time to accomplish work objectives within established timeframes
Working knowledge in purchasing supplies balancing & reconciling figures
Recent experience in office support procedures in a professional environment experience in operating a multi-line telephone system experience with maintaining and creating electronic and hard copy filing system also recent work experience using MS-Office (Excel and Word).
This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
Scheduled work hours are Monday Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
