Job Summary

Description

Oversees and manages the daily operation high volume retail outlets. Provides an interactive shopping experience for guests while ensuring the delivery of Caesars Entertainment service standards.

Manages one or more of the following criteria: $2M in Retail revenues multi-store of at least 2 or more single store Las Vegas properties include: HLV CTL DLV ILV BLV and PHV.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet and assist customers promote sales and demonstrate good public relations.
  • Work with buyers for suggestions on re-orders of merchandise and customer requests.
  • Work with merchandisers to develop additional display techniques.
  • Coordinate events with other departments to promote store tasting demos etc.
  • Awareness of perishable product processing and rotation.
  • Responsible for the screening interviewing and selection of new employees.
  • Maintain staffing levels to ensure delivery of service is maximized and stores operate efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings.
  • Train coach and re-train employees to establish standards holding them accountable for achieving standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all employees.
  • Effectively handles customer and employee complaints.
  • Takes action to resolve customer and employee issues complaints or concerns.
  • Participates in store walk through.
  • Facilitate in-store training or product knowledge seminars.
  • Provides adequate training and tools for employees so they may effectively perform necessary job duties.
  • Ensures company and department policies and procedures are consistently followed by employees.
  • Meets the attendance requirements of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
  • Spends the majority of time interviewing training and selecting employees
  • Conducts Performance Reviews
  • Makes or recommends wage increases
  • Makes or recommends promotions
  • Provides for safety and security
  • Handles employees complaints or grievances
  • Recommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees
  • Plans work
  • Supervises and monitors work
  • Monitors legal compliance with federal state and gaming laws

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years recent retailmanagement experience required.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Visual merchandising and buying experience preferred.
  • Experience working with variety of merchandise preferred.
  • Previous budget experience helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent high quality service levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal customer service communication team-building and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.

PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to work independently. Able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations.
  • Able to conduct conversations with customers and employees.
  • Able to speak distinctly and persuasively to others.
  • Able to write memos letters and reports.
  • Able to understand interpret and analyze written and financial reports.
  • Able to understand and analyze abstract concepts.
  • Able to work any shift up to 12 hours at a time when required.
  • Able to operate computer 10 key calculator telephone fax and copier.
  • Must be able to continuously maneuver in and around the stores and casino/hotel.
  • Must be able to read write and understand English.
  • Able to operate a cash register calculator and telephone.
