The Opportunity

Step into a high-impact role where you will help shape a safer smarter and more accountable university environment. As the Safety Quality and Compliance Coordinator you will drive the integrated assurance framework across a complex property portfolio bringing together safety quality and statutory compliance into one clear data-led approach.

You will turn information into action by owning audit programs compliance systems and performance reporting to give stakeholders real-time visibility of contractor performance and risk. Through dashboards insights and practical advice you will influence outcomes lift standards and embed continuous improvement across services.

This is an opportunity to make your mark in a role with genuine visibility and impact strengthening governance enhancing digital capability and ensuring the Universitys assets are managed safely efficiently and in full compliance.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in property or facilities compliance management including statutory compliance fire compliance risk management and application of relevant legislation and standards.

  • Proven experience overseeing contractor safety management and quality assurance statutory compliance and audit processes.

  • Strong knowledge of contractor management practices including performance monitoring managing non-compliance and ensuring effective closeout of corrective actions.

  • Experience administering compliance and assurance systems with the ability to produce meaningful reporting dashboards and insights using tools such as Power BI.

  • Demonstrated capability in planning and delivering audit and inspection programs including desktop and site-based activities and tracking outcomes to completion.

  • Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to identify trends undertake root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement outcomes.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence provide clear advice and support performance uplift in a complex environment.
