• Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 15 hours
• Weekdays: Off (MondayFriday)
• Duration: 9-week contract

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support radiologists in delivering high-quality imaging services. This weekend contract role is ideal for professionals with 02 years of experience who are looking for a structured part-time opportunity in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
• Perform diagnostic imaging and assist radiologists during examinations
• Operate maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Upload and manage imaging data in PACS for physician review
• Maintain supplies and assist with inventory management
• Support scheduling and patient flow coordination as needed
• Maintain compliance with imaging standards quality and documentation requirements
• Assist in onboarding or guiding new staff when required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills

• RDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures
• Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and patient care
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Education

• Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
  OR
• High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program
