Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support radiologists in delivering high-quality imaging services. This weekend contract role is ideal for professionals with 02 years of experience who are looking for a structured part-time opportunity in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
Perform diagnostic imaging and assist radiologists during examinations
Operate maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Upload and manage imaging data in PACS for physician review
Maintain supplies and assist with inventory management
Support scheduling and patient flow coordination as needed
Maintain compliance with imaging standards quality and documentation requirements
Assist in onboarding or guiding new staff when required
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
RDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required)
BLS certification (required)
Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures
Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively
Proficiency in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail accuracy and patient care
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Education
Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR
High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program
