- Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 15 hours
- Weekdays: Off (MondayFriday)
- Duration: 9-week contract
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support radiologists in delivering high-quality imaging services. This weekend contract role is ideal for professionals with 02 years of experience who are looking for a structured part-time opportunity in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
- Perform diagnostic imaging and assist radiologists during examinations
- Operate maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Upload and manage imaging data in PACS for physician review
- Maintain supplies and assist with inventory management
- Support scheduling and patient flow coordination as needed
- Maintain compliance with imaging standards quality and documentation requirements
- Assist in onboarding or guiding new staff when required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
- RDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and patient care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Education
- Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
OR - High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography program
