Business Segment Overview
Institutional: Immerse yourself in the best-in-class institutional-grade technology working alongside industry experts and gaining exposure to various asset classes such as equities options fixed income securities and advanced trading research and management technology
Job purpose:
You will be joining the convertible bonds team covering Europe ( US and Asia experience is a plus)
Responsibilities
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Convertible Security Salesperson with established book of global institutional relationships containing account types such as banks hedge funds mutual funds or insurance companies
- Thorough product and market knowledge including different trading strategies with understanding of financial analysis
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Actively market department inventory by communicating trade ideas to institutional customer base using multiple analytical tools (Bloomberg Kynex etc)
- Frequent business travel for client and prospect meetings as well as client entertainment
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance

Qualifications
Job Requirements/Skills:
- BA or BS in a finance or economics related background
- MBA or CFA preferred
- Solid fixed income sales experience
- You must possess a strong ongoing interest in the financial markets with emphasis on a dealers front-office Sales and Trading environment.
- Soft skills such as communication teamwork organization with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Series 7 and Series 63
