Senior Medical Scientist (CMS)- Near Patient Testing (NPT)

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to support the delivery of the current NPT services in CHI Temple St and CHI Crumlin (as required). The post holder will support and work with the CMS for NPT as required for commissioning NPT services in the NCHI and UCC sites. This role will be mapped to the CMS in NPT in the DPLM of NCHI.

Essential Criteria:

Be CORU registered

Hold an Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine approved Master Degree- see The Academy of Medical Laboratory Science

Have worked cumulatively for 4 years as a Medical Scientist

Experience in providing an NPT service- Chemistry Haematology and or Microbiology specific devices
