DePuy Synthes Canada is recruiting for National Director Strategic Customers.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position it is anticipated that following conclusion of the transaction you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes programs policies and benefit that case details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Proven ability to cultivate C suite relationships across healthcare systems policy makers and innovation partners to enable funding pathways and market access; lead collaborative tender strategies with Sales and Marketing to secure major bids and expand into private markets; design and implement go to market models for enabling technologies and new channels. This individual willlead ahighperforming team while contributing as an active member of senior leadership to shape organizational strategy andlong-termgrowth.
Key responsibilities:
- StrategicStakeholders Management:Responsible for overall managementof key stakeholders playing an influential role in shaping the healthcare landscape and accessto innovation.
- Team management & Talent development:Develop and lead ateamto achieveshort-term andlong-termbusinessobjectivesandforgestrategicrelationships across healthcare systems.
- Tender success:Responsible foroverarching tender strategiesin collaboration withSales and Marketing leadersfor the business unit to ensure successful outcomes.
- Commercial Transformations:Responsible for drivingadoption ofkeyinternalcommercial transformation initiatives.
- Strategic Growth Initiatives:Leadingnew growth opportunitiesbybuildingGo-To-Marketmodels includingbut not limitedEnabling Technologiesandprivate markets.
- Senior Leadership:Contribute to shapingDepuy Synthes trajectory in Canada by being an active member of its leadership team.
- Support Marketing initiatives
- Provide input for annual business plans
- Build tools and processes for market access forEnabling Technologies
Qualifications:
- UniversityBachelorsdegreeis required; MBA in Science&/or Business Managementis preferred
- 8-10years of experience in Sales or Marketing Leadership &/or Key Account Managementis required
- 3-5 years of people management experience is required
- A minimum of25% travel(flying and driving)
- Experience in MedTech Pharma SaaS within life-sciencesor Biotechis preferred
- Knowledge of AItools MS Dynamics & Co-pilot is preferred
- A requirement for physical exertion (lifting or moving objects >25lbs/10Kg in weight)
- Requirement forlong periodsof sustained visual focus and concentration
- Expectation to use a computer on an almost continuous basis every day
- Regular exposure to hazardous chemicals noise odors dirt/dust fumes temperature extremesvibrationand other undesirable workplace conditions should be noted here
- Natureof work requires that the employee be in an isolated or crowded area.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is(CAD).
