The Lead Intelligence Analyst role requires an individual with a passion for geopolitics security intelligence and investigations and a desire to learn and grow. Some experience in intelligence threat monitoring business writing law enforcement investigations or journalism is preferred. The individual will have a sense of urgency around monitoring global events and develop a keen awareness and good judgment regarding the types of events - geographically and from a business perspective - are of actual importance to our client.

Work model: Hybrid in Salt Lake City UT or Austin TX

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conduct research and provide forward-looking analysis on geopolitical and private sectorbusiness resilience political supply chain ESG and security related risk.

• Develop an expert understanding of the business model and asset locations of the client ensuring that all intelligence and reporting is tailored to the clients specific needs.

• Support due diligence and investigative research to include M&A evaluation of potential business partners and other individuals and entities with which client has a business interest.

• Research entities that may be engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct directed at the company or using the companys platform.

• Carry out social media monitoring.

• Provide short notice briefings during high stress rapidly developing crisis situations.

• Develop and maintain a network of contacts in the private sector government and otherrelevant sectors.

• Understand interrogate and visualize high-quality data to draw analytic conclusions and addadditional context to analysis and reporting.

• Take part in training and other initiatives as appropriate.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and technical leader for intelligence and analyticsmethodologies.

• Mentor and coach junior analysts; review work for quality accuracy and impact.

• Establish procedures analytical frameworks and standards for intelligence work.

• Administrative tasks as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum three years experience with a global threat monitoring team executive protectionlaw enforcement investigations a newsroom or equivalent experience.

• Superior English language writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

• Outstanding research/OSINT skills.

• Quick thinking and response time during crisis events.

• Professional demeanor / Positive attitude.

• Demonstrated team player.

• Ability to balance multiple competing tasks and prioritize accordingly.

• Geopolitical experience

• Adaptability / flexibility

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
