The Orbital Welder III is responsible for performing precision orbital and TIG welding to manufacture ultra-clean assemblies in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. This role ensures compliance with strict quality standards by interpreting blueprints setting up welding cells and conducting inspections. The Orbital Welder III supports production goals through accurate fabrication equipment maintenance and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate TIG and orbital welding machines to fabricate assemblies per specifications.
Perform TIG welding on pipes and tubes ranging from 1/8 to 24 in diameter.
Review blueprints and determine optimal fabrication methods tools and fixtures.
Conduct dimensional inspections and verify weld quality against established standards.
Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers laser levels and framing squares.
Inspect completed work and perform rework as needed to meet quality requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and tooling; perform routine and preventive maintenance.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for labor reporting orders and rejected materials.
Meet daily production schedules and maintain acceptable on-time performance.
Follow all safety rules cleanroom protocols and company procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.

Knowledge Skills Experience
Proficiency in TIG and orbital welding techniques for stainless steel and other metals.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints weld symbols and technical specifications.
Strong mathematical skills for measurements and fabrication accuracy.
Skilled in using clamps orbital power supplies weld heads and precision measuring instruments.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions for atypical situations.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
High level of initiative dependability and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Education Certifications Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some technician coursework and/or AA technical degree/equivalent preferred.
2-4 years experience in a manufacturing environment or advanced training required.
2-4 years of Metal Fabrication.
2-4 years of TIG welding of thin wall aluminum stainless steel etc.
