Are you passionate about helping older adults live active connected and fulfilling lives One Vision is seeking a Wellness Center Coordinator to lead fitness wellness and recreational programming within our 55 independent living community.

What Youll Do

Wellness & Fitness Programming

• Plan and lead engaging wellness activities including fitness classes health education and recreational events
• Design programs that support physical emotional and social well-being
• Develop community outreach initiatives including intergenerational programming

Aquatic Center Oversight

• Ensure pool safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Supervise lifeguards and aquatic staff
• Coordinate water aerobics therapy sessions and open swim schedules

Resident Engagement

• Support residents in following wellness plans recommended by healthcare providers
• Provide resources and guidance to residents and families
• Create opportunities for social connection and active living

Leadership & Program Management

• Hire train and lead instructors lifeguards and support staff
• Partner with vendors volunteers and community organizations
• Track participation and feedback to continuously improve programming

What You Bring

Experience & Certifications

• 2 years of experience coordinating wellness or fitness programs (senior living preferred)
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
• Lifeguard Certification required
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days

Skills & Strengths

• Strong leadership organization and communication skills
• Experience leading fitness or aquatic programs
• Ability to engage and motivate individuals of varying abilities
• Experience with program planning budgeting or community outreach is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk and lift up to 50 lbs
• Assist residents safely in and out of the pool
• Comfortable working in and around water
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
