You will be part ofAxisOSConnected services team.Weare responsible formultimedia streaming and systemaccessfunctionality in AXIS OS which primarily targets thecloudconnected systems. The developers work in small agile teams in close collaboration with internal and external partners. Our goal is to offer high-quality low-latency media streaming while ensuring that we build cyber-secure solutions.We are now looking foratalented software developerjoiningour developmentformedia streaming.Ourstreamingservices are part of our device platform andisanenabler for both Axis and Partner connected solutions.

As asoftwaredeveloper inAxisOS connected services teamyou will join the part of the team who areenablingnewcloud storagetechnologiesforAxiscameras.This includes packaging of videoaudioand analyticsdataanddelivering it in a smart and robust way to the cloud.This is a relativelynew technologyarea in our industry where we continuouslydevelop and explorenew solutions.Weincorporateopen-sourcecomponents such asLinuxGStreamerandffmpegandactively contribute to the community.Our teamworkwith several different languagesprimarilyC/CRustandGo.

You will be involved in all parts of the development from designtoimplementation testingdeploymentand monitoring in close collaboration with our technology partners.

Your responsibilities and your main tasks will include:

• Developingnew media streamingand storagefeaturesfor cloud connected cameras

• Designingthreat modellingprogrammingreviewingandtesting

• Sharing the knowledge and competence with other teams and colleagues

We are looking for you who likecomplex technicalchallengesandenjoysworking in groups with other skilled engineers with a culture that is characterized by cooperation and shared responsibility. We believe that you are a driven software developer whohasa relevant education at university level.We hope you enjoy modern software development focusing on incremental releases userneedsand data monitoring. You like to take initiative andinfluence withyour ideas and thoughts.

We think you have:

• A masters degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Experience fromCprogramminginLinux environment

• Knowledge ofotherprogramming languageslikeC Rustor Go

• Experience ofmulti-threaded programming
