Your mission
As Sales Manager Retail Channel Iberia your mission will be to drive the growth of electric bus sales through the retail channel across Spain and Portugal. You will focus on building strong relationships with private sector clients developing dealer and partner networks and ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience aligned with BYDs global standards.
What youll be doing
Promote the sales of electric buses through the retail channel engaging directly with private customers dealers and agents.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and private sector stakeholders.
Identify and develop new business opportunities expanding BYDs presence in the Iberian market.
Act as a consultative partner for clients supporting them in defining vehicle specifications and solutions tailored to their needs.
Coordinate closely with HQ and European teams (including R&D and after-sales) to ensure successful offer preparation and delivery.
Ensure alignment with regional strategies particularly regarding product services warranties and pricing.
Manage and develop dealer and service partner networks in collaboration with after-sales teams.
Monitor and report sales pipeline ensuring accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
Drive achievement of sales targets and ensure regional profitability objectives.
Develop structured plans for targeting potential customers based on volume and repeatability criteria.
What you bring
Minimum of 5 years of experience as Sales Manager in intercity/coaches buses or similar roles within the automotive industry.
Strong experience in B2B sales ideally within retail channels or dealer networks.
Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and build long-term client relationships.
Strong commercial mindset with consultative selling approach.
Excellent negotiation and value-based selling skills.
Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Fluent English and an additional European language (Spanish or Portuguese preferred).
Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or related field.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
