Senior Water Technician Azambuja
Job Summary

We are currently strengthening our companys engineering department and are therefore looking for a dynamic senior technician with a focus on water-related issues for águas de Azambuja in Azambuja.
Responsibilities:
Daily monitoring and control of water supply zones to detect leaks/anomalies in the distribution network (daily analysis of flows/consumption and pressures at various control points in the distribution network (telemanagement and Neptune software));
Calculation of (technical) performance indicators;
Calculation of operational performance indicators for reporting to shareholders and the regulatory authority
Preparation of the Water Balance by DMA (District Metered Area);
Analysis of incidents in the water supply network to support the implementation of the Water Distribution Network Renewal Plan infrastructure asset management;
Support in implementing the meter replacement plan calculation of ORF (optimal renewal frequency) of the meter fleet calculation of overall error and error degradation curve of the meter fleet and meter calibration plan;
Study installation programming and maintenance of dataloggers at strategic points in the water distribution network;
Installation and operation of leak detection equipment: pre-locators acoustic correlators and support in campaigns using geophones;
Technical support in network sectorization (new DMAs or sub-DMAs) and installation of flow meters;
Support in the execution/update of asset records and data input into GIS (Geographic Information System);
Mathematical modeling of the water supply network to redefine/optimize the boundaries of District Metered Areas (DMAs) and sub-sectorization (creation of new sub-zones)
Support in the sizing installation and maintenance of pressure reducing valves (PRVs) and flow meters;
Preparation and monitoring of the water quality control plan.
Qualifications:
More than 3 years of experience.
Civil Engineer specializing in Hydraulics or Environmental Engineer specializing in Sanitary Engineering.
Strong engagement responsibility and commitment to the companys objectives;
Solid IT/technological skills from a user perspective.
