The Role:
The Librarian will manage and develop the school library as a central hub for learning literacy and independent study.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the day-to-day running of the library
Promoting reading for pleasure and literacy initiatives
Supporting students with research and study skills
Maintaining and developing library resources
Organising events such as book fairs and author visits
Supporting curriculum learning through targeted resources
Requirements:
Experience working in a library or educational setting
Strong organisational and communication skills
Passion for reading and literacy development
Ability to engage and support students
IT literacy and experience with library systems desirable
