Title: Finance Director
Location: Flint MI
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with CMH billing departments to determine rate breakdowns discuss issues with authorizations and other monthly billing issues/concerns
- Communicate any billing issues to CEO COO and Program Directors
- Manage ADP users including creating updating maintaining and archiving users
- Oversee various projects from start to finish including PTO creating and updating new policies as needed
- Conduct regular financial audits of each home
- Train staff in new policies including software changes
- Collaborate with the CPA firm to ensure accurate financial numbers retain records and plan for continued financial success
- Maintain a positive collaborative and open relationship with counties and management
- Utilize all communication tools including FIN
- Maintain and advocate for all Flatrock residents rights
- Complete any additional task assigned by CEO COO and Program Directors
- Oversee and lead the Finance department
- Review AR/AP aging reports as part of the month end and work with accounting support staff to resolve issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field required
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (Preferred)
- Understanding of general accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Works well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Great time management skills
