Location: Sugar Land TX 77478 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $30 $35/hr on W2
Shift: Mon Fri 8 AM 5 PM

Overview

Seeking an HR Business Partner to support a chemical manufacturing plant. This role partners with leadership and employees to drive HR initiatives employee relations and workforce effectiveness in a safety-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily HR support to plant employees and leadership
Advise on employee relations performance management and workforce planning
Support core HR processes (merit reviews bonuses org changes)
Partner with EHS and leadership to promote safety culture
Analyze workforce data (headcount turnover) using Workday
Support recruiting and onboarding activities
Handle employee relations issues documentation and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations
Maintain HR data accuracy in Workday
Respond to employee inquiries on HR programs and policies

Requirements

Bachelors Degree required
1 3 years of HR or related experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Ability to work onsite in a plant environment

Preferred

HR experience in manufacturing / chemical / industrial environments
Experience with hourly workforce & shift operations
Workday experience
Strong communication and multitasking skills
