Job Summary

Required Skills & Qualifications

15 years years strong experience in Data and Insurance .
10 years of experience in data modeling and data design (adjust as needed).
Strong P&C insurance domain knowledge especially in:
- Claims (FNOL reserves payments recoveries/subrogation)
- Policy (quotes endorsements renewals cancellations coverages)
- Broker/Producer (hierarchies commissions appointments)
- Insured / Party (customer risk/locations roles relationships)
Hands-on expertise creating ER models and dimensional models for analytics.
Strong command of modeling concepts: normalization referential integrity slowly changing dimensions surrogate keys etc.
Experience with Erwin Modeling tool
Proficiency with SQL and ability to validate data through analysis and profiling.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional and distributed/offshore teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience working with cloud data platforms: AWS / Databricks
Familiarity with data governance practices: business glossary cataloging stewardship metadata management.
Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) for Party/Customer/Producer data.
Understanding of regulatory/insurance reporting and auditability requirements.
Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (Jira/DevOps).
