Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will serve as a Peds/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN supporting ground transportation needs for infants and pediatric patients. The role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary transportation team including Respiratory Therapists and Advanced Practice Providers to safely transport patients from surrounding hospitals emergency rooms and L&D/NICU units to a higher level of care. Additional expectations include providing skilled nursing care comprehensive clinical assessments medication administration and treatment planning in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support ground transportation needs for infants and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with the transportation team including Respiratory Therapists and Advanced Practice Providers during patient transfers.
- Transport patients from surrounding hospitals emergency departments and L&D/NICU units to facilities providing a higher level of care.
- Float to provide bedside nursing coverage in NICU PICU or general Pediatric units as required.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and interdisciplinary team members.
- Support ground transportation needs for infants and pediatric patients.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (active compact licenses are honored).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Proven experience in ground transportation.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Valid drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (active compact licenses are honored).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Proven experience in ground transportation.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.

- Previous charge nurse experience.

Special Considerations:
- May be required to float to NICU PICU or Pediatric units as a bedside nurse.
- No on-call duties required.
- Permanent candidates from affiliated facilities are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
- Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Scheduling:
- 3x12 Night shifts (1900-0700).
- Every other weekend requirement.
- Immediate start date (ASAP).
