Job Title: Software Integration Architect

Location: Austin TX
Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to design develop and lead enterprise-level integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Apache Camel microservices event-driven architecture and Salesforce integrations along with a solid background in Java-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect integration solutions using Apache Camel or equivalent frameworks (e.g. MuleSoft)
• Define integration patterns standards and best practices across projects
• Lead technical design sessions architecture reviews and stakeholder workshops
• Oversee end-to-end integration tracks for multiple projects
• Develop solution designs architecture diagrams and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
• Support production deployments and go-live activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize integrations for performance and scalability

Required Skills & Experience:

Integration & Architecture:

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel (routing DSL EIP patterns)
• Experience designing large-scale enterprise integration architectures
• Expertise in Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture

Programming & Frameworks:

• Strong Java experience (Java 17/21 preferred)
• Experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus
• Working knowledge of Python and JavaScrip

Messaging & APIs:

• Hands-on experience with Kafka ActiveMQ or JMS
• Strong experience in building and integrating REST/SOAP APIs
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications

DevOps & Tools:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Salesforce Integration:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on Salesforce implementations
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture (data model security model governor limits)
• Experience integrating Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events
• Knowledge of Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flow

Additional Requirements:

• Strong experience developing APIs and integration connectors
• Ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
