Job Title: SAP FICO Functional Lead

Summary

Our clients finance and accounting team is preparing for a major SAP rollout covering US operations this November. They need an experienced liaison to embed with the finance team close capability gaps and guide them through the transition - acting as a trusted coach and bridge between finance and IT.

The ideal candidate brings deep SAP functional knowledge combined with real finance and accounting experience and knows how to communicate effectively at every level of an organization.

Responsibilities:

Coach and upskill finance and accounting staff on SAP processes and best practices
Support SAP FICO and group reporting adoption
Guide master data and configuration work (functional not programming)
Lead change management and build team confidence through the transition

Required Skills:

Minimum 15 years experience between Business IT & Consulting roles
Strong SAP FICO and group reporting expertise
Solid finance / accounting foundation - CPA or equivalent preferred
Consolidations experience a plus
Excellent coaching mentoring and stakeholder communication skills
Comfortable supporting teams remotely while flexible to visit client site as-needed in an immersive change-management-focused role.

Work Site: Lexington KY (Remote Limited Travel)

Duration: 6 Months Probable Extension

Expected Start Date: 06/01/2026
