ER RN Contract Assignment Rockford IL
We are hiring an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Rockford Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced high-acuity emergency department setting.
Assignment Details
Location: Rockford IL
Duration: 13 weeks (May 26 August 22 2026)
Shift: 12-hour Evening/Night shifts (3:00 PM 3:00 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
On-call: None
Local candidates: Must reside outside a 50-mile radius
This role is best suited for an ER nurse with strong clinical judgment the ability to manage critical cases and experience working in a busy hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency care to patients with acute and critical conditions
Perform rapid assessments and prioritize patient care effectively
Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders

Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Handle high patient volume in a fast-paced ER setting
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ER experience (large busy hospital preferred)
Active Illinois RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Pediatrics experience required
Ability to work weekends and holiday rotations
