Senior Data Analyst

Title: Senior Data Analyst Location: Houston TX (Preferred) or Chicago IL (Hybrid) Start Date / End Date: ASAP Standard 6-12 Month Duration Extension Possible Schedule: 40 Hours per week (2-3 days in office) Equipment: Client Provided (Standard Badge Required) Interview Process: 2 Rounds (Round 1: 1hr with 1-2 team members; Round 2: 30min with HM) Number of Openings: 1 POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the development of dashboards and analytics solutions that empower business users to make data-driven decisions. This role operates as a trusted analytics partner owning metrics end-to-end and translating complex technical and behavioral data into clear business insights. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES Design build and own Power BI dashboards and reports for business product and operational stakeholders. Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business questions into scalable data models and visualizations. Analyze and model data from UDH data sources DynamoDB and Postgres. Incorporate Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) data into dashboards to surface performance trends. Build and maintain advanced DAX measures and calculations following Power BI best practices. Validate data accuracy perform root cause analysis and partner with engineering teams to resolve inconsistencies. TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS Power BI (Advanced DAX & Data Modeling): 5 years SQL (Postgres or similar relational databases): 5 years NoSQL/AWS Environments (DynamoDB): 2 years ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS UDH (Unified Data Hub) architecture experience RUM/APM tool familiarity (performance metrics/latency) Data governance and KPI standardization Mentorship and technical leadership IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate is a strategic thought partner who goes beyond report building to provide actionable insights. They possess a high level of technical maturity in Power BI and are comfortable navigating both relational and NoSQL AWS-hosted data environments.
