Job Summary

Role Summary

As the Tech Lead you will architect and lead the development of Valuwares core marketplace platform. You will guide a team of 6-10 engineers across backend frontend and AI services making critical technical decisions on microservices boundaries API design database schemas and deployment strategies. You will be the bridge between business requirements and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture and amp; Technical Strategy

Design and architect the microservices ecosystem supporting 28 marketplace modules

Define service boundaries API contracts and data flow patterns

Make build vs. buy decisions for third-party integrations (payment gateways KYC/KYB messaging)

Lead technical design reviews and establish coding standards

Create and maintain architecture decision records (ADRs)

Development and amp; Delivery

Write high-quality testable code in Go and Python for core services

Build the authentication entity management and payment escrow services

Implement RBAC for 11 distinct user roles across the platform

Ensure idempotency auditability and transactional integrity for financial operations

Lead sprint planning code reviews and release management

Team Leadership

Mentor 5-9 engineers across backend frontend and AI disciplines

Conduct technical interviews and participate in hiring

Facilitate daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives

Remove technical blockers and escalate risks appropriately

Foster a culture of ownership quality and continuous improvement

Operational Excellence

Establish monitoring logging and alerting strategies

Lead incident response and post-mortem analyses

Optimize database queries and API response times

Ensure security best practices (OWASP secure coding secrets management)
