About the Role
About the Role
We are a growing residential home service provider seeking a Permit & Inspection Coordinator to support our operations team. This role is responsible for managing the full permitting lifecyclefrom application preparation to final inspection schedulingwhile also supporting day-to-day office operations.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced small-business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review residential permit applications for accuracy and completeness
- Submit permits through city and county online portals
- Track permit status and proactively follow up with local jurisdictions
- Schedule and coordinate inspections with homeowners clients and inspectors
- Communicate professionally with building departments inspectors customers and internal team members
- Maintain accurate records and internal tracking systems
Additional Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support
- Manage customer relations and ensure a high level of service
- Assist with dispatching technicians and scheduling service calls
- Help manage and track preventative maintenance agreements
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently
- Comfortable working with online portals PDFs forms and checklists
- Clear and professional communication skills (phone and email)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Administrative construction or permitting experience is a plusbut not required
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience working with building departments or permitting software
- Familiarity with residential construction processes
- Experience with ServiceTitan
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
