Certified Scrub Tech- PRN
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
- Anticipate surgeons needs and pass instruments and supplies efficiently
- Perform surgical counts (sponges needles instruments) per policy
- Ensure proper handling labeling and care of specimens
- Assist with room turnover and case setup
- Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures instrumentation and supplies
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons anesthesia and nursing staff
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical scrub experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Schedule:
- PRN/as needed based on surgical volume
- Must be flexible with availability
