Certified Scrub Tech- PRN

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeons needs and pass instruments and supplies efficiently
• Perform surgical counts (sponges needles instruments) per policy
• Ensure proper handling labeling and care of specimens
• Assist with room turnover and case setup
• Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures instrumentation and supplies
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons anesthesia and nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical scrub experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Schedule:

• PRN/as needed based on surgical volume
• Must be flexible with availability
