Locum Physician - Anesthesiology

Be part of a dynamic hospital environment at Immanuel Medical Center/Nebraska Spine Hospital where over 3600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually. The facility is well-equipped with advanced technology and a collaborative team of anesthesia providers CRNAs and Anesthesia Technicians. This role allows for a mix of independent case work and diverse procedural experiences including orthopedic labor & delivery spine and more.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases.
• Evaluate patients pre-operatively and monitor them post-operatively.
• Manage anesthesia during surgeries with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Required).
• Preferred Nebraska License or ability to obtain it through IMLC.
• Completion of residency or fellowship in relevant specialty (Required).
• BLS and DEA certification (Required).
• Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred).
• Availability at time of credentialing (Required).
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of application (Required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Required).
• Nebraska License Preferred (or willingness to obtain) (Highly Preferred).
• BLS and DEA certifications (Required).
• Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred).
