Job Summary

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Anesthesiology

Summary:
Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading facility in Omaha Nebraska known for performing 3600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries annually. This role requires a passionate anesthesiologist to provide care in a supportive hospital environment working alongside anesthesia providers CRNAs and anesthesia techs. The practice offers various procedures including ortho labor & delivery spine GI gynecology urology and more using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia care for independent cases in a hospital setting.
Perform a variety of procedures including orthopedic and bariatric cases.
Collaborate with a skilled medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage patient care from pre-operative assessment through recovery.
Participate in staffing and schedule availability on weekends and nights.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required).
Completed residency and any required fellowship (required).
Clean malpractice history preferred.
Preferred Nebraska state license or IMLC eligibility.
Current BLS and DEA certifications (required).
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (required).

License and Certification Requirements:

State License: Nebraska License Preferred (highly preferred).
Board Certification: Required.
Other Certifications: BLS DEA (required).
