Job Title: CT Technologist (MSBI) Contract
Location: New York NY 10003
Duration: 9 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:

• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
• Monday Friday
• 37.5 Hours per Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced radiology environment. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety maintain equipment standards and adhere to all regulatory and quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure optimal image quality
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on imaging equipment
• Administer contrast/radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and document all procedures in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards
• Follow radiation safety practices in accordance with ALARA principles
• Perform quality assurance and safety testing on imaging systems
• Maintain accurate patient records images and electronic data for radiologist interpretation
• Coordinate ordering and verification of patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses
• Verify proper receipt and activity levels of radiopharmaceuticals prior to administration

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and procedures
• Ability to assess and respond to patient needs before during and after imaging procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards

Education & Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active New York State License (L.R.T Radiologic Technologist)
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
• Current BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
• Certification to administer injections as per NYS DOH requirements
