Journeyman Plumber

Skilled Journeyman Plumber for commercial construction industry. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems construction plumbing techniques and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install repair and maintain plumbing systems in commercial properties and commercial new construction.

• Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and construction plans to ensure precise execution of plumbing layouts.

• Utilize hand tools power tools pipe threading equipment and welding techniques to assemble piping systems.

• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks blockages or mechanical failures.

• Collaborate with construction teams electricians HVAC technicians and Project Managers.

• Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols during all field operations.

• Assist in remodeling projects or maintenance tasks that require handyman skills such as carpentry or basic mechanical repairs.

• Keep detailed records of work performed materials used and compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a valid license or certification.

• Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing practices and pipe installation techniques.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems mechanical knowledge related to plumbing fixtures and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

• Hands-on experience with hand tools power tools heavy lifting equipment and construction site safety procedures.

• Ability to read technical diagrams / schematics related to plumbing or HVAC systems.

• Valid DL

• Pass background check and UA drug screen.

Starting pay between $26 - $39 per hour depending on experience
