The Collins Aerospace Avionics Tools organization is seeking an entry level Software Engineering candidate with a passion for problem solving. You will improve and develop new tools that increase consistency efficiency and productivity of product development and testing across avionics systems for internal and external is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in avionics and work with a variety of different aircraft position requires a candidate with a strong customer focus highly effective communication skills and the ability to prioritize and advance multiple objectives.

This is an onsite based in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

What You Will Do:

• Code integrate test debug and document complex database tools.

• Contribute to cross-functional team integration verification and validation activities.

• Participate in software code and requirements reviews.

• Contribute to software engineering requirements definition for well-defined software designs.

• Report status of support requests and assigned tasks.

• Effectively interact and build trust with peers from varied backgrounds and different engineering teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizensare authorized to access information under thisprogram/contract

• YML JAVA Python (Cerberus Jinja2 SQLAlchemy PyYAML) C Pearl

• Experience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies

• Experience with object-oriented query language design

Qualifications We Prefer:

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
