Position Summary

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role within MediStreams Product Management function serving as the bridge between business needs technical execution and client outcomes. This role is responsible for translating complex requirements into actionable user stories driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) supporting platform configuration and ensuring successful delivery across the product lifecycle.

In this position youll operate at the intersection of Product Engineering Implementation and Client Successleveraging analytical expertise SQL proficiency and healthcare domain knowledge to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions. Youll work closely with leadership to shape product execution support client onboarding and ensure that platform capabilities align with real-world use cases.

This is a hands-on high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in both technical and business environments and enjoys digging into data workflows and systems to drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Youll:

Requirements & User Stories

• Translate business needs into clear actionable user stories by partnering with Product Engineering and stakeholders to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Refine and manage the product backlog by ensuring stories are properly sized prioritized and aligned with dependencies and business goals.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Coordinate UAT cycles across internal teams and clients by planning timelines managing communication and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and execute UAT test plans and test cases by covering both standard workflows and edge-case scenarios that impact production performance.
• Track document and resolve defects by working closely with Engineering and QA to ensure timely issue resolution.

Configuration & Implementation Support

• Configure the MediStreams platform to meet client-specific requirements by applying business rules workflows and routing logic.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating requirements into executable solutions and ensuring alignment.
• Support client onboarding and go-live activities by providing platform expertise guiding configuration decisions and assisting with post-launch support.

Technical Research & Analysis

• Perform data analysis and investigative research using SQL by querying databases tracing data flows and validating system behavior.
• Analyze healthcare EDI transactions (e.g. 835 837) by troubleshooting issues validating data parsing and supporting client inquiries.
• Identify root causes of system issues by reviewing logs configurations and system outputs to propose effective solutions.
• Deliver clear data-driven insights by producing analysis that informs product engineering and client-facing decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Engineering QA Implementation and Client Success teams by aligning priorities and ensuring successful delivery of features and solutions.
• Communicate complex findings effectively by translating technical insights into clear actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Document configurations workflows and analysis results by maintaining knowledge that supports long-term operational success.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and drive process improvements by streamlining analysis configuration and testing workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices by maintaining knowledge of RCM processes EDI standards and business analysis methodologies.

Ad Hoc / Strategic Support

• Support additional product and operational initiatives as needed by contributing to special projects escalations or evolving business priorities across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Youre a great fit if you have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (required)
• 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst Product Analyst or Technical Analyst role
• Strong SQL proficiency for data analysis and investigative queries
• Experience working with healthcare RCM systems and EDI transactions (835 837 preferred)
• Proven experience writing user stories test plans and coordinating UAT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
