Heres What You Need:

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Individuals hired into the position prior to January 1 2003 will be grandfathered with existing education is Required.

Experience

1 year of Maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial environment is required.

1 year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

DL Drivers License upon hire Required.

Skills

Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.

Ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs.

Working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation.

The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.

Ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors.

Ability to work in extreme temperatures.

Ability to work unsupervised and in teams.

Excellent written verbal and listening skills.

Ability to work nights weekends and/or holidays.

What You Will Do:

Provide basic building repair and maintenance support including but not limited to general mechanical repairs painting electrical plumbing customer requests grounds and the like utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs education opportunities and related training.
