Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Handling: Load unload move and arrange rental equipment safely and efficiently.
- Yard Maintenance: Keep the rental yard clean organized and free of hazards.
- Customer Assistance: Help customers pick up and return equipment providing guidance on basic operation and safety.
- Inventory Support: Inspect equipment for damage perform minor maintenance and report issues to management.
- Safety Compliance: Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations while operating equipment or performing yard tasks.
- Team Support: Assist other staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Track equipment check-ins check-outs and maintenance records accurately.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse construction or equipment handling environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy equipment standing walking and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of equipment operation; willingness to learn.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain an orderly yard and keep track of equipment.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety rules and protocols.
- Communication Skills: Able to interact courteously with customers and team members.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
