Job Description Summary
This position provides instruction for the Criminal Justice Technology Program and the Career and College Promise ( CCP ) as needed.
Duties
1. Maintains mastery of subject matter. 2. Teaches in various formats and locations (face to face HyFlex online or in the Career and College Promise Program ( CCP ) in a local high school environment). 3. Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with the faculty staff high school administrations and students. 4. Establishes learning outcomes that are relevant and meaningful. 5. Evaluates student progress in a fair consistent and timely manner. 6. Maintains accurate records of student performance and submits grades according to deadlines. 7. Serves on College committees and/or high school committees. 8. Assists with advising students. 9. Adheres to policies procedures values/ethics expectations and practices of the College Department and discipline. 10. Assists Department Chair with Career College Promise ( CCP ) High School programs as directed including instructional or supervision duties. 11. Attends AB-Techs Commencement Ceremony. 12. Contributes to the College Vision Mission Values and RISE statement. 13. Supports diversity in all aspects. 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Teaching experience in the Community College System. 2. Teaching experience in a high school environment. 3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish an East Slavic language and/or American Sign Language.
