The Southport School is a leading Anglican Day and Boarding School for boys situated on the banks of the beautiful Nerang River in the heart of the Gold Coast. The Southport School (TSS) has been established for 125 years and is committed to providing excellence in leadership learning and teaching pastoral care and extra-curricular endeavours within a balanced holistic Christian environment. The School has a vibrant Boarding Education Cultural and Sporting program that extends across the full year and two campuses.

The Southport School is now seeking a reliable caring busdriver to assist with before school and after school bus runs five days per week School excursions incursions (campus to campus) and to assist with transporting our students on weekends to sporting fixtures from time to time during the school term.

To be considered for this role candidates must have:

• A current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (HR)
• A current driver authority
• A working with children paid blue card (or willing to obtain)
• A criminal history check certificate
• A current first aid certificate would be considered beneficial though not essential

Hours will vary based on the demands of the School and across both our Preparatory and Senior School campuses. We anticipate that this role may drive up to 30 hours per week during School term time.

Successful candidates will be willing to support the Code of Conduct and stated values and Anglican Ethos of the School. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries and standards when working with children and young people and may be required to undertake a vehicle driving trial on campus.
