Role description:
As an Associate Consultant you will support a wide variety of consulting projects across the infrastructure and built environment sector ranging from policy advisory and sustainability/ESG initiatives to market research business transformation and data this role you will be involved in end-to-end project deliveryincluding research stakeholder engagement data analysis and developing client-facing reports and presentationsgaining broad exposure to advisory work such as strategy development benchmarking studies process improvement and digital solutions. This position is ideal for candidates with up to 2 years of experience but fresh graduates with a strong interest in consulting are also encouraged to apply.
Role accountabilities:
- Conduct desk research market scanning and benchmarking to generate evidence-based insights.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities (surveys interviews focus groups workshops) including scheduling and documentation.
- Collect clean and analyze quantitative and qualitative data; build simple models dashboards and data visualizations.
- Draft and review client-ready deliverables such as reports executive summaries and presentation decks.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams on information requests meetings deliverables and follow-ups.
- Maintain project trackers action logs and support general project administration (e.g. document control basic financial tracking procurement of quotations).
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues to meet tight project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Engineering Science and Statistics Social Science or Business (preferred but not mandatory).
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates will be considered.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data to generate insights.
- Prior internship/project experience in consulting research policy sustainability/ESG or stakeholder engagement is an advantage.
- Professional mature and client-focused with strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (advanced Excel required; Power BI SQL or Python is a plus).
- Excellent writing and presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
- Fluent in Cantonese; able to communicate professionally with various stakeholders.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; proactive detail-oriented and adaptable.
- Interest in the construction/built environment sector and digitalisation/AI applications.
