Leasing Broker Free Market Rentals Brooklyn NY Base Commission

About the Role A growing Williamsburg-based real estate company is looking for an experienced and motivated broker to take full ownership of their free market rental portfolio across NYC. This is a hands-on end-to-end role from listing to lease signing built for someone who knows the NYC rental market and is ready to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Tenant Management

Manage the full rental cycle from listing to lease signing
Handle lead intake follow-ups and tenant screening
Coordinate applications approvals and lease execution

Showings & Market Presence

Conduct apartment showings and open houses across NYC
Track market trends and pricing to stay competitive

Listings & Marketing

Create post and optimize listings across major rental platforms
Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize exposure and occupancy
Build and maintain relationships with prospective tenants and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Proven experience as a real estate broker or rental agent in NYC
Strong understanding of the NYC rental market particularly free market units
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management abilities
Self-starter with a drive to succeed and grow in the real estate space
Comfortable managing multiple listings in a fast-paced environment
