Job Summary
About You
Feels Like Home hospitality (FLHO) is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead all accounting functions across the FLHO portfolio. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financials improving accounting processes and ensuring timely reliable reporting to support decision-making. This role will work closely with ownership and operational leadership helping FLHO stay organized as we scale while maintaining strong financial discipline across multiple concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations across entities including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll coordination and cash management
- Manage weekly and monthly close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare review and analyze P&Ls identifying trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain and improve internal controls accounting policies and reporting procedures
- Ensure all invoices are properly captured coded and processed in a timely manner (in coordination with operations teams)
- Reconcile bank accounts credit cards and intercompany transactions
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors
- Support budgeting forecasting and cost control initiatives (labor food and beverage)
- Assist with system optimization across platforms such as Sage Intacct Craftable Toast and payroll systems
- Support new openings and ensure accounting systems and processes are properly set up from day one
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions as the company grows
- Develop a future accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- CPA or CMA Qualification
- 7 years of accounting experience preferably in multi-unit or multi-entity environments
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting fundamentals
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced hands-on environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams
- Understanding of GAAP internal controls and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting systems (SageIntaact and Quickbooks required)
- Experience in hospitality preferred (restaurant hotels)
- Experience working with inventory-based accounting preferred
- Familiarity with systems such as Toast and Craftable preferred

- 90k - 120k Annual Salary
