Electronic Waste Sorter

Clean Harbors located in La Porte TX is seeking an Electronic Waste Sorter to join their team. TheSorterwill work on the receiving docks to unload vans and box trucks. This position will focus on unloading electronic waste from retailers that come into the facility that need to be sorted.

Shift: 2nd shift position (2:30 pm-11:00 pm) training will be completed on a day shift for several weeks (6:00 am- 3:30 pm)

Pay:$19.50-20.00 $1.75 shift differential

• Performs daily tasks of operating forklifts on multiple ramps/docks to receive and offload waste containers from vans and box trucks;

• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for receiving electronic waste into the facility;

• Computer work will be needed to input waste for tracking and fix/track discrepancies in loads found while scanning;

• Will also have manual labor involved to load and unload incoming loads;

• Other duties as assigned by management.

• High School diploma or equivalent required;

• Forklift experience is an asset but not required;

• Scanning receiving or inventory experience is a plus;

• Must be 18 years or older;

• Ability to use computer;

• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
