About the job:

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Registered Nurse will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each persons physical emotional social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards policies procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

What youll do:

• Assesses and evaluates patient charts for surgical readiness.

• Accurately communicates pertinent information to providers internal and external customers office associates patients and family members in a timely manner.

• Provides clinical telephone triage/communication as defined by protocol or provider instructions.

• Documents accurately and completely pertinent assessments interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards policies procedures and/or guidelines.

• Thoroughly educates and explains procedures to patients and family members (diagnosis disease process etc.).

What were looking for:

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing

• Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio

• Experience: One year or more of RN experience. Familiar with H&Ps preferred.

• Demonstrates the ability to organize and manage patient charts including delegation to and supervision of other members of the team

• Demonstrates skills and abilities in clinical and administrative areas

• Current BLS/CPR
