Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (07:00 AM 03:00 PM)

Compensation

• Travel/Non-Local Rate: $5053/hr
• Local Rate: $4043/hr
  (Based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise across multiple specialties and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow
• Adhere to all safety infection control and compliance standards

Work Environment

• Ambulatory / One-Day Surgery Center
• Monday to Friday schedule
• No weekends and no holidays

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center
• Hands-on experience in multiple specialties including:
  • Orthopedic
  • General Surgery
  • ENT
  • Vascular
  • GYN
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures instruments and sterile techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred

Certification

• Certification preferred (CST or equivalent)
