About the Opportunity

One of the most respected commercial concrete subcontractors in the country with a track record spanning decades and a reputation for delivering complex tilt-up and cast-in-place projects with excellence is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations in the DFW market. What Youll Do

• Prepare complete and competitive bid proposals for tilt-up and CIP concrete scopes
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings
• Solicit review and level subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Develop accurate labor material equipment and overhead cost models
• Coordinate with the Preconstruction Manager and leadership on bid strategy and go/no-go decisions
• Attend pre-bid meetings site walks and GC interviews as required
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and owners in the DFW market
• Assist with value engineering and scope clarification during preconstruction
• Maintain organized bid files estimate logs and follow-up tracking
• Support project handoffs to the PM team upon award

  What Were Looking For

• 3 years of estimating experience with a concrete subcontractor tilt-up experience strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in quantity takeoff software (On-Screen Takeoff Bluebeam or similar)
• Solid understanding of tilt-up panel systems CIP structural concrete and flatwork scopes
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with accuracy
• Experience using construction bidding platforms (Building Connected iSqFt or similar)
• Detail-oriented with strong math analytical and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of the DFW subcontractor market and material pricing a plus
• Degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred
