Job Summary
Were hiring a Shop Laborer to help keep our shop yard and properties running clean and organized. This is a hands-on role with a mix of recurring upkeep and as-needed support across the team no two days look exactly the same.
What youll do
Recurring tasks:
- Sweep shop floor and lot
- Mow grass and spray weeds at company properties
- Empty shop debris and general cleanliness around the shop
- Operate forklift and skid loaders to unload trucks and organize materials
As assigned:
- Pick up parts and run errands
- Deliver equipment and materials to job sites
- Organize the shop and clean equipment
- Other support tasks for the crew
- Assist shop mechanic with miscellaneous tasks
What were looking for
- Valid drivers license (required)
- At least somewhat mechanically inclined you dont need to be an expert but you should be comfortable around tools and equipment
- Self-starter who takes pride in keeping things clean and organized (a big part of the job is cleaning so being a slob wont work here)
- Reliable on time and able to take direction as well as work independently
- Able to do physical work outdoors in varying weather
- Comfortable and productive working independently
The basics
- 40 hours/week full-time seasonal
- $17$20/hour depending on experience
