Job Summary
Position Summary
INTERNAL ONLY : Internal posting for permanent time-limited layoff priority employees of UNC -Chapel Hill and temporary employees hired directly by UNC -Chapel Hill only. The Assistant Athletic Director Student-Athlete Benefits and Services position is responsible for the administration and oversight of athletics financial aid student-athlete benefits and related financial operations. The role ensures compliance with NCAA ACC and University regulations while serving as a key liaison with campus and external partners. The position also manages financial processing reporting and budgeting functions that support student-athlete programs.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Two years of experience in Division I FBS athletics compliance athletic risk management and/or university financial aid services preferred; working knowledge of NCAA regulations NCAA Compliance Assistant (CAi) and NCAA Legislative Services database (LSDBi); excellent communication and organizational skills along with proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Five years of experience in Division I FBS athletics compliance scholarships and student aid and/or university business services preferred; working knowledge of NCAA regulations NCAA Compliance Assistant (CAi) and NCAA Legislative Services database (LSDBi); excellent communication and organizational skills along with proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
