Head of IT

Youll lead the groups global IT infrastructure operations and project management functions ensuring systems are secure reliable and fit for purpose both now and into the future. This is not just about oversightyoull be expected to bring structure clarity and momentum across everything from day-to-day operations through to major business initiatives.  Working closely with the leadership team youll translate business priorities into clear plans and deliverables.

A key focus of the role is governance risk and security. Youll be accountable for cyber risk technology change and compliance ensuring the business is protected without unnecessary complexity.

Youll lead a small but capable team of 16 with 3 direct management level reports building a culture that is collaborative accountable and outcomes-focused. While this is a strategic role there will be times youll need to step in and deliver directly.

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone who has operated at a senior level in IT and is equally comfortable working across strategy and execution. Youll know how to balance best practice with pragmatism and bring strong commercial judgement leadership capability and a proven ability to deliver results in complex environments.

• Proven experience leading IT operations and infrastructure in a complex or growing organisation
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels moving easily between big-picture thinking and execution
• Strong understanding of IT governance risk information and cyber security with a practical approach to implementation
• Experience establishing or improving project delivery frameworks (PMO or similar)
• A track record of delivering projects and initiatives on time with clear business impact
• Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at leadership level
• Strong people leadership capability with a focus on building capability accountability and performance
• Commercially astute with sound judgement in balancing cost risk and operational performance
