About the role Mō te tūranga mahi
This is a unique opportunity to join ACCs Future Workforce team within the People and Culture business group. The Future Workforce team leads ACCs exploration of the evolving workforce landscape and how people and technology trends will shape our organisation into the future. Your work will directly contribute to ACCs Future State programme and broader digital transformation initiatives.
As Principal Advisor (Digital Innovation) you will bring a strong people lens to complex technology led change. A key focus of this role is supporting ACC to grow its AI capability with particular emphasis on understanding how AI and emerging technologies will impact our kaimahi the work they do and how we design our future workforce.
Working to a defined work plan you will collaborate closely with Technology and Data and play a critical role in ensuring People and Culture is connected to key technology related work across the organisation. This role requires strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence across diverse disciplines clearly articulating why a people perspective is essential when introducing new technology.
About you Mōu
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced advisor who can confidently operate at a strategic level while also delivering practical outputs aligned to agreed priorities. You will bring a strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies along with the ability to apply this knowledge in a People and Culture context.
You will also have:
A background in HR or People & Culture with experience working closely with technology digital or dataled initiatives (or vice versa)
A high user of and strong understanding of AI technologies including how different AI applications can impact people roles capability and ways of working
The ability to translate between HR and technology domains bridging language priorities and perspectives
Systemslevel thinking and the ability to solve complex organisationwide problems
Experience designing and supporting pilots including defining success measures and evaluating impact
Strong research capability using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform advice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage credibly at all levels
A collaborative relationshipfocused approach with the ability to influence across disciplines

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $138301 and $195248 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
