Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver advanced respiratory care in a high-acuity Level I Trauma hospital. This role involves managing ventilator support airway care and critical respiratory interventions for adult and geriatric patients across ICU ED and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care in ICU ED and critical care units
Manage mechanical ventilation including weaning and troubleshooting
Perform airway management (intubation support suctioning trach care)
Administer respiratory medications and aerosol therapies
Deliver oxygen therapy (HFNC BiPAP CPAP)
Collect and analyze ABGs and sputum samples
Support rapid response and emergency situations
Operate ventilator systems (Servo U preferred)
Document care using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
Active RRT Credential (Required)
Active South Carolina Respiratory Therapy License (Required)
Minimum 2 years acute care respiratory therapy experience
Trauma Level I hospital experience (Required)
Strong ventilator management skills
EPIC EMR experience (Required)
Certifications
BLS Required
ACLS Required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Servo U ventilators
ICU ED and transport respiratory experience
Travel experience
