Accountant 2, Corporate Accounting

Job Summary

• Provide timely and high-quality basic accounting support for corporate clients under direct supervision.
• Concentrate on delivering consistent results by focusing on basic bookkeeping processes and low-complexity tasks.
• Assist in preparing standard financial reports following established procedures.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute basic accounting tasks and reconciliations under guidance
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of assigned tasks following detailed checklists
• Learn client requirements and fundamental accounting practices
• Follow prescribed procedures and statutory requirements
• Participate in training to develop foundational skills
• Support team members with routine accounting activities

Tasks

• Monitor and manage assigned mailboxes
• Perform periodic bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Gather and maintain source documents and records
• Prepare working schedules and working papers
• Assist with audit queries
• Prepare and compile data for tax/VAT filings
• Support preparation of periodic and annual accounts
• Perform self-review of all prepared deliverables
• Provide support to team members as required
• Address simple accounting queries independently
• Escalate questions and issues to senior team members
• Assist in regulatory reporting activities
• Address review comments from reviewers/clusters promptly
• Complete and sign off required checklists
• Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs.

Skills

• Primary Skills: Corporate Accounting Book keeping financial statements Tax GL reconciliation MANCO accounts; AP AR RTR; intercompany accounting intercompany ledger intercompany recons management company accounting 
• Must have Knowledge on US GAAP; must have worked on accounting tools (preferably Netsuite Sage Quickbook).

Qualifications :

• MBA and semi qualified CA/CMA
